Jin\u00e9 benz\u00ednov\u00e9 motorizace se na na\u0161em trhu p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 nevyskytuj\u00ed, tedy Ti-VCT 85 kW, dvoulitrov\u00fd motor 107 kW, nebo 1,8 litrov\u00fd s\u00a0v\u00fdkonem 92 kW.\tPozor na turbodiesel 1.6 TDCiCo se t\u00fd\u010de diesel\u016f, vhodn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed je motor o v\u00fdkonu 81 kW nebo 100 kW o obsahu 2 litry, anebo stroj 1,8 TDCi o v\u00fdkonu 85 kW. Mohou tu v\u0161ak nastat probl\u00e9my se vst\u0159ikov\u00e1n\u00edm paliva, kter\u00e9 se nejv\u00edce projevuj\u00ed u motoru 1.6 TDCi o v\u00fdkonu 66 kW nebo 80 kW. Tento motor se nav\u00edc nedoporu\u010duje kv\u016fli pot\u00ed\u017e\u00edm s\u00a0EGR ventilem, v\u00a0souvislosti s praskaj\u00edc\u00edmi\u00a0hadicemi u re\u017eimu turbo, a\u00a0z\u00a0d\u016fvodu \u010dast\u00fdch \u00fanik\u016f oleje. V\u00fdrobce podcenil u t\u011bchto motor\u016f tak\u00e9 ucp\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed s\u00edtka u maz\u00e1n\u00ed turbodmychadla, a to velmi \u010dasto odch\u00e1z\u00ed, co\u017e p\u0159edstavuje n\u00e1kladn\u00e9 servisn\u00ed z\u00e1sahy.\u010cast\u00fdmi z\u00e1vad\u00e1m u druh\u00e9 generace Focusu mohou b\u00fdt vadn\u00e9 dvouhmotov\u00e9 setrva\u010dn\u00edky, vadn\u00e9 sn\u00edma\u010de polohy ped\u00e1lu plynu, nebo zasek\u00e1vaj\u00edc\u00ed se z\u00e1mek kapoty motoru.
